Restore backup files on your site or database

General information
On shared hosting DarkHost, backups are created automatically.

If you need to restore a site (individual files or databases), use a backup system. Data backups are collected daily and created at night. The generated copies are displayed only in the afternoon. Each backup is stored for 30 days, after which it is automatically deleted.

The backup does NOT include:

  • cron jobs;
  • settings created in the hosting control panel.

Helpful information!

In order not to mix files and database tables, it is recommended to delete files from the directory with the site before restoring and clean the database.

Restoring files or a database from a backup is done in the hosting control panel.

How do I open the hosting control panel?

1. In the Tools section, select Backups, select the required date and click Data

2. In the window that appears, select the type of data that you want to restore from the backup

3. Select the site directory (Usually located in the / www / directory) Click Download or
